Mettiamo a conoscenza le Associazioni e loro Dirigenti, Docenti della recente  costituzione dell'Istituto di Formazione Groundsman Italia con iniziative  culturali, sportive, sociali e turistiche denominato "IFGI", voluto dalle esigenze  e dalle richieste dei tanti adepti e addetti ai lavori, per promuovere il  Groundsman, figura professionale conforme ai tempi moderni, IFGI cercherà  di dare un contributo per la crescita di quelle funzioni sempre più  specialistiche, riservando loro un know how, che solo nei Paesi esteri  anglofoni al momento riscontriamo:
- gestire in primo luogo i siti sportivi in erba naturale, per poi evolvere il suo  compito manageriale intorno a tutta la struttura che lo circonda, con fattori  eventi, manifestazioni, coordinamento budget e adeguamento risorse, nuove  tecnologie.
La nostra esperienza ventennale, nazionale ed internazionale, forte di uno  staff di Professionisti eterogeneo, rapporti con Fondazioni Groundsman UK dal  1934 in auge nel settore sportivo mondiale, feedback propositivi dalla FIGC di  Coverciano, dove il dott. Maurizio Francini sta seguendo le nostre evoluzioni e  ancora seguiti dal CISM per le affinità che lega allo sport, su campi sportivi e la  scuola di scienze motorie, ci proponiamo come supporto ai Vostri programmi e  iniziative che includono la gestione dei siti sportivi in maniera professionale.
IFGI si colloca nell'ampio spazio sportivo-culturale, in particolare formativo-  professionale, disponibile a creare sinergie agevolate con attori principali ASD,  SSD, Comuni, creando modelli adeguati “FIELD SPORTS” per ogni esigenza  locale, compresi dirigenti sportivi, tecnici comunali e garanzie date dalla  presenza del Groundsman nel territorio, nei più dei 17000 campi sportivi  dilettantistici presenti in Italia.
IFGI è finalizzato a promuovere iniziative formative con particolare interesse  per lo sport, per il verde urbano, per le arti, per la scuola, per il turismo, per la  salute, per l'ambiente ecocompatibile, per la solidarietà umana e sociale, per  l'educazione permanente e ricorrente.

Per conseguire tali obiettivi IFGI è proiettato ad interagire con persone, Enti,  Associazioni e Istituzioni scolastiche adottando le seguenti linee operative:
ampliare le iniziative educative e didattiche;
proporsi come luogo di incontri, di aggregazione, di approfondimenti e  dibattiti sui temi di attualità, con particolare riferimento alle problematiche e  gestione del verde naturale ed alla professionalità degli operatori;
porre particolare attenzione ai problemi nel mondo del lavoro e del disagio  giovanile, promuovere lo sport come punto di aggregazione sociale in  movimento, salutistico per tanti aspetti.
Tale iniziativa è rivolta a tutti i maggiorenni, per entrambi i sessi, senza  distinzioni etniche.
Nello stesso tempo IFGI offre la disponibilità a collaborare alle iniziative per le  quali le Associazioni, Enti, scuole, ritenessero opportuno avvalersi  dell'esperienza degli esperti IFGI.
IFGI s'impegna anche a premiare o ad attribuire particolari riconoscimenti  maturati con il tempo, seguendo quel percorso internazionale che ci  metteranno in competizione con Paesi Europei, dove già esistono tali realtà, o  dove come da noi italiani stanno per nascere.

MINISTERIAL PURPOSES

 Dear President,

In the cities, from the centre to the suburbs, like in the sports facilities, green areas must be treated and protected because they are a vital lung and game spaces for children and athletes.

The management and maintenance of grass areas require technical knowledge and competence. A specific training course aimed at the profession of the groundsman, even in our country can be very useful.

Today’s meeting has the merit of emphasising an important topic, that promotes new questions about the preparation of the new staff members with green areas, who are then crucial elements for the correct progress and spectacularity of sports competitions.

I would like to thank Francesco Dotto for having organised such an interesting meeting and with him the two guests from England: Mr Geoff Webb the CEO of IOG and Mr Dan Prest, Head of Member Service from IOG that I am sure will give a valuable contribution to the discussion.

Increasing awareness and discussing issues related to just one component that makes up the world of sport which means enhancing the whole supply chain, means joining forces to be able to steer in the same direction and team up.

Let’s not forget that turf is the basis for a frequent and safe game in the stadiums, but also for golf courses, baseball, rugby, to mention some of the many disciplines involved. 

Not being able to take part in this beautiful occasion of confrontation due to institutional commitments previously assumed, I send a warm greeting and the wish of a good job to the coaches, to the players and to all present.

 

 MISSION 

 

IFGI è un Istituto di recente costituzione (2017), che basa la sua attività su pluriennali e consolidate conoscenze ed esperienze nel settore della preparazione, manutenzione e rigenerazione dei terreni dei campi sportivi (compreso verde pubblico ed urbano)
L' IFGI ha l'obiettivo di formare giardinieri e amatori del settore, tecnici comunali, periti agrari e agronomi, in quel settore sportivo dove sta nascendo una maggiore sensibilizzazione professionale da parte di Enti, Federazioni, Società, Media.
La funzione chiave è quella di intraprendere tutte le attività legate alle strutture sportive campi di calcio, rugby, etc. al fine di rispondere in modo adeguato alle esigenze dei vari responsabili del settore e garantire che il sito sia mantenuto ad un ottimo livello di standard.
La qualifica che IFGI rilascia è “Groundsman” e ciò significa:
- applicazione corretta dei concimi di sintesi e Bio, fitosanitari, e razionale uso idrico;
- manutenzione preventiva in pre-emergenza, come spesso non accade, pianificata su varie tipologie di campi;
- analisi dei processi vitali naturalmente presenti, con presupposto del risparmio delle risorse, mettendo in pratica metodi e sistemi all’avanguardia già sperimentati.
In concreto il Groundsman si occupa di applicare a fondo i processi naturali che stanno alla base della vita, in modo particolare di quella vegetale, minerale e dei microrganismi, sfruttando esperienze ventennali dei docenti stessi, unito ad un circuito di esperti internazionali in continuo contatto con il mondo scientifico sulle evoluzioni delle essenze e dei loro fabbisogni vitali, non di meno il supporto con linee guida che i colleghi inglesi saranno disposti a scambiare, per offrire al mondo agronomico sportivo, soluzioni efficaci e sostenibili.
Sostenibilità è il concetto di riferimento centrale per IFGI ed è l'elemento guida sia nelle proprie attività che nelle applicazioni quotidiane per un ritorno sempre più Bio, evitando dilavamenti inquinanti, dati da eccessi ed evitabili sprechi.

Le offerte IFGI si basano su nuove tecnologie, servizi e prodotti all'avanguardia, e si articolano su due settori principali:


FORMAZIONE
IFGI intende un percorso, già collaudato dal 1934 dai Groundsman inglesi, i quali in termini di manutenzione del verde, hanno tracciato le linee guida. Il Corso è composto da più livelli, in modo da mettere in risalto l'utilità dei moduli di studio sia in fase teorica che pratica.
IFGI Mediterraneo, adeguandosi al suo clima di transizione e non Continentale, offre ai Team di manutenzione una formazione nel campo della pedologia con diversa provenienza, struttura e composizione; possibilità di scelta varietale sia da microterma che da macroterma e quant'altro. Tali variabili imprescindibili ci hanno messo in condizioni di valutare e modellare una mirata preparazione così da creare un programma di studio ed approfondimento adeguato alle esigenze temporali.

 

PROFESSIONE
L'assenza ad oggi di Interlocutori tra società sportive, amministrazione comunale e società manutentrici, la mancata presenza di una figura professionale Groundsman ed ancora la mancanza di un Tecnico gestore del budget iniziale, per poter garantire un tappeto verde seguito da performance di gioco ed incolumità dei giocatori stessi, oltre ad una buona cultura agronomica delle essenze utilizzate, hanno fatto si che tale nuova figura (in Italia) si renda indispensabile.

 

 Primo Groundsman:

-saranno coloro che vigileranno le operazioni annuali delle ditte per terzi, possessori di macchinari utili a quelle operazioni di movimento strutturale del terreno di gioco;

- seguiranno una tabella di lavoro con cadenze mensili o meglio stagionali, che andranno sempre più ad affinare, anno dopo anno adeguandosi alle esigenze del campo in gestione nel loro territorio;

- avranno particolari attenzioni biologiche, dove il punto di partenza sarà sempre e comunque un’attenta valutazione delle condizioni pedologiche del campo dopo scrupolosa analisi del terreno.

 

 

 

IFGI is a recently established institute, which bases its activity on many years of experience and consolidated knowledge in the field of preparation, maintenance and regeneration of land in sports fields (including public and urban greenery).

The goal of the IFGI is to train gardeners and amateurs of the sector, municipal technicians, agricultural experts and agronomists, in the sports sector where a greater professional awareness is emerging from organizations, federations, companies and media.

The key objective is to undertake all activities related to sports facilities. football, rugby, etc. in order to respond adequately to the requirements of the various managers in the sector and to ensure that the site is maintained at an excellent standard.

The qualification that the IFGI issues is “Groundsman” and means:

-correct application of Synthetic and Bio-Phytosanitary fertilisers, and rational use of water;

 

- preventative maintenance in pre-emergency if it were to happen,

planned on different types of fields;

- analysis of the naturally vital processes present, with the conditions of saving resources, putting cutting edge techniques into practice and systems which have already been tested. 

 

More specifically, the Groundsman deals with the fundamental application of the natural processes that underlie life, particularly the vegetal, mineral and micro-organisms, making the most of the twenty-years experience of the teachers themselves, combined with a circuit of international experts in continuous contact with the scientific world on the evolution of the cores and their vital needs, also support with guidelines that the English colleagues will be willing to exchange providing the agronomic sporting world with effective and sustainable solutions.

Sustainability is the central reference concept for  IFGI  and is the guiding element both in its activities and in everyday applications for an increasingly organic return, avoiding polluting washouts, excess data and avoidable waste.

 

IFGI offers are based on new technologies, services and cutting-edge products, and are divided into two main areas::

 

 TRAINING

 IFGI intends to follow a path, already tested since 1934 by the English Groundsman, who in terms of maintenance of the green, have drawn the guidelines, the Course is composed of several levels, in order to highlight the usefulness of the study modules is in the theoretical phase that’s practised.

IFGI  Mediterranean, adapting to its transition and non-Continental climate, provides maintenance teams with training in the field of pedology with different origins, structure and composition; possibility of varietal choice both from microterma and from macroterma and so on. These essential variables have enabled us to evaluate and model a targeted preparation so as to create a study program and in depth analysis appropriate to temporal requirements.

 

PROFESSIONAL

 The absence of spokespeople between sports clubs to date, municipal administration and maintenance companies, the lack of presence of a professional Groundsman and still the lack of a technical manager of the initial budget to ensure green turf followed by performance of play and safety of players themselves, besides a good agronomic cultivation of the used cores, have made sure that this new professional category (in Italy) becomes indispensable. 

 

 First Groundsman:

- will be those who will supervise the annual operations of companies for third parties, owners of machinery useful for those operations of structural movement of the pitch;;

- will follow a data sheet with monthly or better seasonal cadences, which will be more and more refined, year after year adapting itself to the needs of the field under management in their territory;

- will have particular biological attention, where the starting point will always be a careful evaluation of the soil conditions of the field after scrupulous analysis of the terrain.
